Banks and Lloyd (Shipping) Ltd is a Freight Forwarding Company which was established nearly 30 years ago and intends to consolidate and expand the business well into the future. Our strategy is to continue to build a strong Management team and to expand our client base each year by at least 10%.
Many aspects of the Shipping and Forwarding world have changed during the past few years, none more profound than technologies used to offer clients the right products, in the right place, at the right time. Banks and Lloyd can be considered one of the most pro-active Forwarding Agents in the UK today. We continue to offer additional services to clients as a World-wide Shipping and Forwarding agent which includes further improving its Logistical management by expanding the IT service with tracking, tracing and RIFD facilities and improved communications.
Although the development of IT brings new benefits to our company, we still remain focused on the objective of giving our clients an excellent service, at a competitive rate. This is our core strength together with a personalised service approach, which will remain at the heart of company policy.
Operationally, we have bi-lingual overseas transport co-ordinators, to enhance our communications within the European, Far East and USA market. The Management team is constantly under review with a view to adding experienced Managers when and where necessary.
Banks and Lloyd continually monitor all the trends within our industry and not only recognise the necessity to invest in technology, but also to invest in human resources enabling us to offer the best service from the most experienced staff. By doing this we can not only maintain our current level of service, client base and profits but expand our overseas offices where possible to exceed expectations.
